I grew up in the ’90s making potions out of flower petals, leaves, & well water—creating our own magic - because we had to. Now, my spark shows up differently: early 2000s emo (it’s not a phase), staying cozy, caring for my plants, hanging with my people, and noticing the glimmers in the everyday.
I’m an introvert, probably anxious, but curious about what makes people tick. (I’m an Enneagram 9—what are you?) I’m also animal-obsessed, so yes, please bring your dog. My dream life lives somewhere in the mountains or the desert. I bring my camera wherever we go—landscape photography helps me hang onto the wonder from our travels.
I don’t want to be the best photographer. I want to be your best photographer— to be the right fit. My goal is to create a time capsule just for you, one that only grows in value as the years pass. I’m here to document the real stuff: the tiny details, the big feelings, the unrepeatable magic of your family.
Connection is everything. It’s magnetic. It’s magic. And so are you. I want you to feel free to be completely yourself during our time together—because the loudest way to love someone is to let them be who they really are.

Welcome to my studio! This is my favorite little corner of Owatonna, I've been at my studio for 9 years and it's been the perfect home for my business.
This is a cozy, welcoming space where families can just show up, hang out, play, and be themselves. Sessions are not rushed, I do not believe in 15 minute sessions. The best sessions happen when we allow space for things to unfold on their own, without pressure or expectation. The studio has a clean, timeless feel—easy to mix, match, and make your own as a family. Your photos should be more of a representation of you, than of me; with the goal to create modern heirlooms just for you, I want your personalities to be the star of our session. You are worth documenting, just as you are. You don't need to be somebody else here.
The studio is stocked with a mini client closet for all of our clients about 2 and younger. I've curated a perfect wardrobe with styles that can mix and match for a variety of looks with a consistent vibe. Most clients bring their babies in jammies--no shopping needed!
Older than 2 and need styling help? Reach out and I would be happy to help you incorporate pieces from your own wardrobe for a session that could only be yours, with your style and quirks! You do not need to purchase a whole new outfit for photos, I promise you already have amazing pieces in your closet that showcase your individuality!

For clients who opt for a more personal portrait session, I love working to create a meaningful gallery in a special place. This could be your home, a family farm, or home away from home. There's something special about creating photographs in our own safe spaces. My space is a reflection of my personality, the things that I love, and I know many of my clients share the same love of design and individuality.
In 20 years, the images that will mean the most will be the ones where you can see and feel your loved one's personality. The things you might forget. Our lifestyle sessions are never perfect, but that's part of the magic. Things don't have to be perfect to be noticed, admired or thought to be worth documenting. Life is short--it's the in-between moments that count. Photographs are so often of our very best days, they hold us through some of our worst.
